Aside from working on my planet series I started working on this piece about a month ago and worked on it on and off during two weeks. I really pushed myself with this one and took my time. I sometimes tend to rush a painting in the final stages. For a long time I had had a lot of trouble with blending smoothly and painting skin. After a lot of experimentation I think that I have finally achieved a result for the skin that I'm happy with.



I created this work using Painter and Photoshop. Since I'm pretty bad at painting hands and flowers out of my head I had to look at some refferences. I used my own hand as a refference for this work.
